Nova Scotia trip - part 2

Tommy and I got to BeaverBrook on Monday and Tommy got to meet all sorts of relations.

We got the obligatory 4 generations photo...

He played on Grampa's tractor...

He went frog hunting...

And he played the piano some more...

There are tons of photos with all the various relations, but there just isn't space for that. I'll send copies to the people involved. Dad has lots too.

Tommy hits Nova Scotia

Tommy and I made it to Halifax on Thursday and although my camera died after about half an hour Susan came to the rescue and got lots of great pictures.

Tommy got to hang out with his Nanny...

and he played the piano with his Great Nanny...

and he played with his Uncle Joey...

and he hung out with all the girls...

Now that he's getting all used to the crazy Barretts, we're heading off to Truro and the Burrows side.

New tricks and toys

Thomas has learned how to roll over onto his stomach. For the last five months, any time he's been placed on his tummy he yells and gets upset, but now that he can roll himself over he seems to find it fun. And if he happens to roll himself over when he's on something soft (like the couch) he sometimes gets so comfortable he just passes right out.

In addition to his new trick, he has a new toy -- Daddy's face! It's big and soft and squishy and perfect for digging your nails into, and it's got some lovely texture toward the bottom there, with lots of hair to grab hold of for some great yanking. While all the attention and love is gratifying, I think I could perhaps do with a little less sudden sharp pain.

Too cute

Sleepers are great and all, but Tommy is just way too cute in real pj's. He is rather long and slender and sleepers tend to be too short and too wide for him, but these two piece pj's are great (except that without the added stability of onesies he can wiggle out of his diaper).

...And, Tommy definitly takes after his father in the hair department. He always has such interesting hair after his bath...
