Gramps and Grandma
Gramps is seen here getting to know his new grandson. I think they like each other.

Good god, he actually smiled!
Finally, we have photographic proof that he does, in fact, smile!
It's not too surprising, actually. That swing is his favourite place. There have been many nights where the only way we could get sleep was to put him in there and let him swing for a while. Very, very handy thing to have. But I think in this particular case, the smile must have been due to the fact that he could see daddy. Yup. That must have been it.

You're under arrest!

More awake than ever!
Thomas decided to wake up and look around for a while this evening. Luckily, my camera was able to catch him in the act. Look at those eyes! I think he's terrified of his mother and is in the process of desperately trying to get away. Either that or he's preparing to burp.
Probably the burp, to be honest.

He may be drugged, but at least he's happy!
A few new pictures to start the New Year off right...

First: Photographic proof that we drug the child! Look at those dopey eyes! Actually, we don't drug him... he keeps scurrying away and finding his own stuff and getting all high. It's terrible. I don't know how we're going to keep him under control as a teenager.

Second: Proof that Joel has seen the baby with his eyes open! In fact, Joel even admitted that the baby was being cute! (Gasps of shock all around.) I guess Thomas was smiling at him and everything. Joel might even want to volunteer to hold the baby more often, at this rate... although I don't think any force on this planet could convince Joel to change a wet diaper, much less a poopy one.
